Sophia's play-date

Sophia's play-date Bear came over tonight. Bear is the coolest bomb sniffing dog. He's so relaxed, just like Sophia. We love having him over to play with her. They had so much fun in the pool together jumping in the water to retrieve a tennis ball. Guess who got the ball every time... :)

Sex in the City movie

Tonight I went out to the Sex in the City movie with about 15 girlfriends. We had so much fun. The movie was so funny! I really enjoyed it. However there were some scenes that were so not needed. There were horrible nude scenes. I don't know why they put them in the movie. They almost ruined it for me... almost. I really had a great time with the girls though.

Oh yeah... The theater was full of 100's of girls who were all dressed up like the characters in the movie. There was even a group of 125 girls who had a pre-party at Tiffany's! It was so funny, and there were babysitters/bouncers (men of coarse) who were in the theater yelling at all of us on a bullhorn (I'm not kidding) to turn off our phones, and to not do any texting!!! It was wild. A movie theater full of women, and we needed security to keep us in line! It was quite a night.

Losing Weight

Today is the first day I am actually going to try to get into shape for the cruise in July, and to get ready for pregnancy. No more junk food, or laying around. I am 138lbs now... my goal is 123lbs! 15 lbs by July 7th. I have my work cut out for me:)

First night swim of the season!

The pool is finally the perfect temperature to swim in at night. We has ourselves a little luau.

Great news!

I had my follow up doctors appointment today and she gave me a clean bill of health! I officially have permission to get pregnant in 4-6 months!!!

Trenton Blake Colby

Today Trenton Blake Colby was welcomed into my older brother Bryan's family. He was 9lbs 11oz, and calm as can be. I am so excited for them, and I can't wait to go and meet him.

Day Date

We had a "slumming it day" just hanging out together cruising around Old Town and eating sushi at Stingray. It was such a beautiful day. We even stopped at the newly clean office buildings to admire our hard work!

Manipulative Realtor!

So I find this amazing house that appraises at $2.2, and is in preforecosure for $1.3. I call the realtor and ask him if anything is wrong with the property to justify the lower price. He said it was in perfect condition other than the water and power being turned off. (Plants had died, etc.) I explained to him that my clients were extremely interested in an amazing view, and that if there weren't amazing views that I didn't want to bother driving up to North Scottsdale. He assured me that there were city light & mountain views. Looks like he didn't lie, but I need to be much more detailed in my questioning next time... the views are from the front of the house and the end of the cul-de-sac, and you can only see them from 2 guest bedrooms and the road. Lame!

Let there be rain!

Ok... the last week or so has been well over 100 degrees topping out at 107!!! Yesterday it was so windy it blew the top off of our jacuzzi and knocked down our umbrella. Today it is in the low 70's, and is raining. It is always so special when it rains here. Especially when it brings in an amzingly enjoyable cold front. Yeah... no more 100+ degree weather... for another week anyway.

My huge little brother Brent

I had my little brother Brent (5 years younger!) come and visit me for a couple of weeks. He protected me when Derek was gone playing baseball. I came across this picture, and just couldn't believe my sweet little baby brother has turned into a HUGE man. Life sure does come at you fast!

What happens when I take Derek to work with me.

I love taking Derek to work with me. Sometimes when I have to preview homes for my clients he will go and drive me around. He really does enjoy it. He has a good eye. The best is when we go to a preview and it's an open house. You will always find Derek in the Kitchen eating all of the refreshments. I think he's so cute. He always lights up when finds treats.

I'm such a lucky girl!

It's so wonderful to wake up in the morning to these two. Derek is a very early riser, and I take bit longer to get up. This morning I woke up to Sophia jumping all over me trying to play, and to a breakfast by Derek. I am such a lucky girl!

New Kids on the Block!

How exciting! The New Kids on the Block are back! I can't believe it's been 18 years! Step by step... Oh baby! Gonna get to you girl... Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Danny Wood & Joe McIntyre were so cute. I had the biggest crushes on both Jonathan & Jordan. Those songs "If You Go Away", "Step by Step", "The Right Stuff", "Cover Girl"... are so great.

I remember hanging in my bedroom when I was 10 and calling in their songs to dedicatioin radio at night. I totally want to go to one of their new concerts!

One of our dreams.

We really love getting out of town. It's kind of a need at this point. After traveling for about 5 years straight together it just became part of who we are. I took Derek up to Eagar, AZ (where I spent the most wonderful years of my youth) and we fell in love with it. Our dream is to have a house there so we can spend beautiful summer days (it gets too hot to stay here), and get to experience the snow in the winter. I remember this house on Main Street. It's so beautiful. I don't know if I like this older house or a newer cabin better. Not that I am going to buy one tomorrow, I'm just dreaming!

The first day of the rest of my beautiful life.

Derek and I have recently decided to start a family. We are going to start trying in about 6 months! We both have some things we want to accomplish first, so the clock is ticking. We are both so looking forward to starting a family, and want to be as amazing as our parents were and even better if possible. :)
