
So I find this amazing house that appraises at $2.2, and is in preforecosure for $1.3. I call the realtor and ask him if anything is wrong with the property to justify the lower price. He said it was in perfect condition other than the water and power being turned off. (Plants had died, etc.) I explained to him that my clients were extremely interested in an amazing view, and that if there weren't amazing views that I didn't want to bother driving up to North Scottsdale. He assured me that there were city light & mountain views. Looks like he didn't lie, but I need to be much more detailed in my questioning next time... the views are from the front of the house and the end of the cul-de-sac, and you can only see them from 2 guest bedrooms and the road. Lame!
